About Sam
Sam Tawse is a PGA Assistant Professional. He started working at UK Golf Academy in 2019. Sam has a specialist background in Coaching and Club Fitting.
Sam’s philosophy is centred around using proven techniques to improve all aspects of someone’s golf game and accommodating this into either an individual lesson or a tailored package of lessons.
“After spending most of my golfing career in competition golf and studying the science and psychology of golf I have found that the psychology aspect is often overlooked and can make a significant impact on someone’s performance.”
“I believe that golf is a very individual game and that is why I don’t teach a singular technique; but rather use a range of techniques to discover what works best for them. Golf can be different for different people and that is why I work with people who are complete beginners to elite-level golfers.”
Private lessons will include use of video technology, Trackman launch monitor & SAM Putt Lab (*Studio lessons only) also personalised video notes so you don’t forget what to practice!
